Apologies for this late edition of the Rojak, which was delayed on account of me still setting up in my new place. Every month I sift through a lot of news for Southeast Asian Archaeology, and some of them don’t make the cut. These are stories that are not exactly about archaeology, or of Southeast Asia, but in some ways are. This month we have an interesting roundup of cultural heritage controversies, revivals in local wisdom, and also some interesting science ones, like the unlikely connection between dinosaurs and wine. No dinosaurs were harmed - by me - during the assembly of this newsletter though.

The Rojak is a special monthly newsletter exclusive to my supporters. Want to be a supporter? Buy me a coffee. Supporters get full access to the newsletter archive, and also bonus reads like the rojak.
